Can Breeze create a Quotivity quote?

HubSpot Breeze cannot create Quotivity quotes — use Claude, ChatGPT, or Slack instead.

No. HubSpot Breeze cannot create a Quotivity quote. Breeze is HubSpot’s own AI assistant, and it treats every quote as a Revenue Hub quote. Asking it to “create a Quotivity quote” — even with very explicit instructions — still sends it down that path.

Quotivity quotes are a separate quoting system. Breeze does not have access to Quotivity’s quoting tools, so it cannot start, edit, or publish a Quotivity quote.

What you can use instead

You can create Quotivity quotes with Claude, ChatGPT, or Slack. Those tools connect to Quotivity and use the same quoting tools as the in-app AI assistant.

The AI quoting assistant is an account add-on — Quotivity turns it on per account, not as part of Trial, Pro, or Enterprise. Slack is a separate add-on on top of that. Claude and ChatGPT connect through the Quotivity MCP server.

  • Claude and ChatGPT — connect as an MCP client. The step-by-step connector setup is in Connect an AI assistant with the MCP server.
  • Slack — connect your workspace on Settings → Quoting → AI Assistant, then message the assistant in a DM or an allowed channel. The same article walks through those steps.

Why Breeze does not work

Breeze is built around HubSpot’s native quote object and Revenue Hub. Quotivity quotes live alongside that object but are created and managed by Quotivity. Breeze has no connector for those tools, so it keeps trying to build a Revenue Hub quote instead.

Tips

  • If a teammate asks Breeze to create a Quotivity quote and it offers a Revenue Hub quote instead, that is expected — not a misconfiguration.
  • Use Claude, ChatGPT, or Slack when you want an AI to build the quote.
  • A quote still belongs to a HubSpot deal, whichever tool creates it.
