Configuring the Print and Download module
Give buyers a way to print the quote or save a PDF, with button labels in your own words.
Overview
Section titled “Overview”Buyers forward quotes, file them, and take them into approval meetings. The Print and Download module gives them two buttons for that: print the quote, or download it as a PDF.
In HubSpot’s module picker it’s called Print & Download (Quotivity).
Settings
Section titled “Settings”The panel has one group of settings per button.
| Setting | What it does |
|---|---|
| Download Button Settings → Text | The download button’s label. Defaults to “Download quote” |
| Download Button Settings → Enabled | Whether the download button appears |
| Print Button Settings → Text | The print button’s label. Defaults to “Print quote” |
| Print Button Settings → Enabled | Whether the print button appears |
Turning both off leaves the module in place with no buttons — the quicker option is to hide the whole module from the configuration panel.
- Open the module. Select Print and Download in the Template Modules panel.
- Rename the buttons if “Download quote” and “Print quote” aren’t your wording, or if the template is in another language.
- Turn off a button you don’t want — some teams offer download only.
- Preview and publish.
- Put the module near the top of the document. Buyers who intend to print look for it before reading.
- The PDF matches the rendered quote, so check how the document breaks across pages and add Page Break modules where a section should start fresh.
- Attachment previews are always included in the PDF, even when they’re hidden in the web view — see Configuring the Quote Attachments module.
