Terminating a contract
End a HubSpot contract immediately or schedule its termination for a future date.
Contracts are enabled per account. Your HubSpot portal must have access to the Contracts API beta, and Quotivity must enable contracts for your account. Contact help@quotivity.com to get set up.
Terminating a contract ends the agreement in HubSpot on the date you choose. Only a Quotivity administrator can terminate a contract from the Quotivity Contract card.
Before you terminate a contract
Section titled “Before you terminate a contract”Termination does not reverse charges that were already billed. Review the contract, its billing history, and the requested end date before continuing.
A terminated contract cannot be changed or renewed from the Quotivity Contract card. If the customer needs a new agreement later, create a new quote.
Terminate a contract
Section titled “Terminate a contract”- In HubSpot, open the contract record.
- On the Quotivity Contract card, click Terminate contract.
- Select the Termination date.
- Select today’s date to end the contract now.
- Select a future date to keep the contract active until that date.
