Adding Quote Analytics to a HubSpot dashboard

Put every Quotivity Analytics chart on a HubSpot dashboard, so your team sees quoting performance next to the rest of its reporting.

This feature requires an Enterprise plan.

Beta. Quotivity Analytics, including the HubSpot dashboard embed, is in beta. It is currently gated: it isn’t turned on for any account by default, and we enable it for each account on request. To request access, email help@quotivity.com with your HubSpot account ID.

Quotivity gives your account a private embed link to a standalone page with every Quotivity Analytics chart. Paste that link into a HubSpot dashboard as external content, and anyone who opens the dashboard sees your quote cycle times and approval metrics without leaving HubSpot or signing in to Quotivity.

The embedded page shows the same charts and date picker as Quotivity Analytics in Quotivity Studio, without the Export button. It refreshes once an hour, like the Studio page.

  • Quotivity Analytics is enabled for your account. While it’s in beta, email help@quotivity.com to request it.
  • You have the Admin role in Quotivity.
  • You can edit the HubSpot dashboard you want to add the charts to.
  1. In Quotivity Studio, go to Settings → Analytics → HubSpot Dashboard.
  2. The first time, click Generate embed link. After that, the page always shows the account’s current link.
  3. Click Copy URL.

The page also shows when the link was generated and by whom.

  1. In HubSpot, go to Reporting → Dashboards and open the dashboard you want to add the charts to.
  2. Click Add content in the upper right, then choose External content.
  3. Choose Other content.
  4. Enter a title such as “Quote Analytics”, then paste the link into the URL or embed code field. HubSpot shows a preview.
  5. Add it to the dashboard, then make the widget wide and tall enough for the charts.

The charts now appear on the dashboard for everyone who can open it.

To add the charts to another dashboard, copy the same link again from Settings → Analytics → HubSpot Dashboard and repeat these steps.

Treat the link like a password. Anyone who has it can see your account’s quote analytics without signing in to Quotivity, and so can everyone who can open a HubSpot dashboard that carries it — whatever their Quotivity role, Sales Reps included.

  • Only paste the link into HubSpot dashboards.
  • Don’t share it by email, chat, or in documents.
  • If it may have been exposed, rotate it.
  • If you no longer want analytics on any HubSpot dashboard, disable it.

The link only shows analytics. It can’t be used to sign in to Quotivity or to see or change anything else in your account.

Rotating replaces the link with a new one. Do it if the link may have been shared somewhere it shouldn’t be, or when someone who had it leaves your team.

  1. Go to Settings → Analytics → HubSpot Dashboard.
  2. Click Rotate link, then confirm with Rotate link in the dialog.
  3. Copy the new link and put it in every HubSpot dashboard that used the old one.

The old link stops working immediately. Until you replace it, every dashboard that still uses it shows “This analytics link is no longer valid.”

Your account has one embed link at a time, so rotating affects every dashboard that uses it.

Disabling switches the embed off without creating a new link. Do it when you no longer want your analytics on any HubSpot dashboard.

  1. Go to Settings → Analytics → HubSpot Dashboard.
  2. Click Disable link, then confirm with Disable link in the dialog.

The link stops working immediately, and every dashboard that uses it shows “This analytics link is no longer valid.” Remove the widget from those dashboards. To embed the charts again later, click Generate embed link — you get a brand-new link.

A link keeps working until it’s rotated or disabled, even if Quotivity Analytics is later turned off for your account. The settings page disappears when the feature is off, so you can’t disable the link yourself then. If you want an embedded dashboard switched off, email help@quotivity.com and we’ll disable the link.

Section titled “The widget says “This analytics link is no longer valid””

Someone rotated or disabled the link. Copy the current one from Settings → Analytics → HubSpot Dashboard and replace the link in the dashboard. If the page offers Generate embed link instead, the link was disabled — check with your team before generating a new one.

The Analytics section only appears for Admins in accounts where the beta is enabled. If you’re an Admin and don’t see it, email help@quotivity.com to request access.

Quotivity only counts activity from the day the beta was enabled for your account, and the numbers refresh once an hour. Pick a later date range in the widget, or check back after your team has worked on a few quotes.

Make sure you pasted the whole link — use Copy URL rather than selecting the text. If the preview in HubSpot still stays blank, email help@quotivity.com with the name of the dashboard.
