Welcome to Quotivity
Quotivity is a HubSpot-native CPQ app that helps your team build accurate, on-brand quotes fast — here's how the pieces fit together.
Overview
Section titled “Overview”Quotivity is a CPQ (Configure, Price, Quote) app that lives inside HubSpot. It helps your sales team turn deals into accurate, on-brand quotes without guesswork — products are priced correctly, discounts stay within policy, and the right approvals happen before anything reaches a customer.
You configure all of this in Quotivity Studio, the admin app. Your sales reps work in Quote Builder, where they add products and send quotes. This knowledge base is written for admins working in Studio.
The building blocks
Section titled “The building blocks”A few core concepts do most of the work in Quotivity. You don’t need all of them on day one, but it helps to know how they relate.
- Price Books define what your products cost. A price book ties a set of products to specific prices and pricing rules, so the right list price shows up the moment a product is added to a quote.
- Quote Rules keep quotes consistent. A rule watches for conditions you define and then takes an action — block a quote, require approval, set a price book, add line items, and more.
- Bundles let reps configure a product from a set of options instead of adding items one by one.
- Quote Templates and Terms control how the finished quote looks and what legal language it carries.
- Approvals and e-signature govern what happens before a quote goes out and how it gets signed.
Everything ties back to a HubSpot deal, so quotes, line items, and amounts stay in sync with your CRM.
A typical quote, start to finish
Section titled “A typical quote, start to finish”- A rep opens a deal and starts a quote in Quote Builder.
- As products are added, your Price Books set the prices and your Quote Rules run — adding items, applying discounts, or flagging the quote for approval.
- If a rule requires it, the quote waits in Pending approval until an approver signs off.
- Once approved, the quote is published, rendered as a branded document from your Quote Template, and sent to the buyer.
- The buyer reviews, accepts, and — if you use e-signature — signs.
