Updating quote fields
Use the Update Quote outcome to set custom quote fields from a Deal or Company property, a static value, or a formula.
This feature requires an Enterprise plan.
Overview
Section titled “Overview”The Update Quote outcome writes custom quote fields when the rule’s conditions match. For each field, choose copy from a property, set a static value, or set with a formula.
Update Quote is on Enterprise (included in Trial). Set with formula uses the same Enterprise gate as Set with Formula on Update Line Items, not Calculated Pricing.
Which fields you can set
Section titled “Which fields you can set”The destination list includes customer-created quote properties only. HubSpot’s standard quote fields, fields Quotivity creates (including roll-up fields), and the Expiration Period Option are not offered.
How values are set
Section titled “How values are set”- Copy from a property: the quote field mirrors a Deal or Company property. When that source changes, the quote field updates to match.
- Set a static value: the quote field is set to a fixed value you specify.
- Set with a formula: the value is calculated in the same formula editor as Calculated Pricing. Formula inputs are Deal and Company properties only. Formulas can write number and text fields, not dropdown fields. Number results can optionally be rounded to two decimal places.
You can mark a field read-only so reps cannot change it in Quote Builder while the rule matches. When the rule stops matching, Quotivity stops maintaining the field and releases the lock. The value already on the quote stays.
If more than one Update Quote rule writes the same field, the lowest
priority number wins within each method, and formula writes run last. A blank
priority is treated as 0.
