Configuring the Buyer Company module

Address the quote to the right company by pulling its name and billing address straight from the CRM.

The Buyer Company module is the “bill to” block: the company the quote is for. The company name still comes from the associated HubSpot company. The street address is the quote’s buyer billing address — copied from the company when the quote is created. Quote Builder shows Company address only when HubSpot exposes the quote’s native buyer billing fields (Revenue Hub). Without those fields, the published block keeps the live company address and the editor does not appear. Edits always update the quote buyer address. Check Update Company Record Address? (defaults off) to also write the same fields to the HubSpot company.

In HubSpot’s module picker it’s called Buyer company (Quotivity).

What it shows by default

A new module is pre-built with the company name, street address, second address line, city, state or region, and postal code. Address lines use the quote’s buyer billing fields once those have been copied from the company; until then they fall back to the company record. Lines with no value are removed from the rendered quote, so partial addresses still look tidy.

Settings

The module has one field: the content. Edit it as rich text to add a “Bill to” label, include the company’s country or tax number, or reorder lines for a local address format. See inserting CRM property tokens for how tokens resolve.

Clear the content and the module renders nothing.

Steps

  1. Open the module. Select Buyer Company in the Template Modules panel.
  2. Match your address format. Reorder or relabel lines — postal code before city, for example — and add any property your finance team needs on the document.
  3. Preview with sample data from a deal whose company record is filled in.
  4. Publish the template.

Tips

  • Selling into different regions? A second template with a localized address layout is usually cleaner than conditions inside one module.
  • If the block looks empty on a real quote, check that the deal is associated with a company in HubSpot. When Quote Builder shows Company address, confirm the address was copied onto the quote. If that editor is missing, the portal does not expose HubSpot’s native buyer billing fields, so the module still reads the company record. Editing the company record later does not change an address already saved on the quote.
