Template modules reference

Every Quotivity module you can add to a quote template, what it puts on the quote, and where to configure it.

A quote template is assembled from Quotivity modules. You add the modules to the template’s HubSpot landing page, and you configure what each one does inside Quotivity Studio. This article lists every module and links to its settings.

Each module name below appears twice: once in HubSpot’s module picker (where you add it to the page) and once in Quotivity’s Template Modules panel (where you configure it).

Every module is configured the same way, so these behaviors apply throughout the articles above.

  1. Open the module. In the template editor, the Template Modules panel lists every module detected on the landing page, with its module type beneath the name. Hover a module to highlight where it sits in the preview, then click it to open its configuration panel.
  2. Rename it. Click the module’s name in the panel to edit it. The name is internal — buyers see headings you set inside the module, not this name. The Quote Attachments, Template Attachments, and Quote Signature modules fall back to this name if you leave their heading empty.
  3. Edit the settings. Changes save automatically a moment after you stop typing, and the preview refreshes as you go.
  4. Hide a module with Hide Module at the bottom of the panel, or the eye icon in the module list. A hidden module stays on the landing page but is left out of the rendered quote — useful for a section you’re not ready to show.
  5. Undo your edits with Reset, which restores the module to its last published state. Modules with unsaved-but-unpublished edits are flagged in the panel.
  6. Publish the template when you’re done. Configuration changes only reach buyers after you publish.

Modules live on the template’s HubSpot landing page. Click Edit Design to open the page in HubSpot, search the module picker for “Quotivity”, drag the module you want into the layout, and publish the page. Quotivity picks up the change and lists the module in the template editor.

Two modules can only be added once per template: Quote Signature and Template Attachment. Every other module can appear as many times as you need — several Line Item tables filtered to different products, or a Rich Text module between each section.

  • If a module you added in HubSpot doesn’t appear in Quotivity, publish the landing page — Quotivity only detects published modules.
  • Quotivity modules deliberately have no settings inside HubSpot. The fields you see there are placeholders; the real configuration is in Quotivity Studio.
  • Colors, fonts, and spacing come from the landing page, not from module settings. Change the look on the page and the content in Quotivity.
