Quote properties available to Set Price Book rules
Set Price Book can condition on the quote, but only the properties Quotivity has already filled in.
Overview
Section titled “Overview”A Set Price Book rule can use the Quote variable. When you select it, the property list shows only fields that already have a value. The rule runs once, when the quote is created, and it does not run again while the rep edits the quote. Line items are copied on after the price book is chosen, so anything that depends on products, totals, or a later rule is not a useful condition yet.
Deal, company, contact, user, team, and Flow Response conditions are unchanged. Line items, fees, discounts, and taxes stay off this outcome.
If a create-time Start Guided Selling flow runs first, the price book is chosen immediately after the rep finishes that flow. A flow answer that writes the quote’s price book property sets the book directly and this rule does not override it. Other answers are available as Flow Response conditions.
Properties that are set
Section titled “Properties that are set”These are the properties the editor offers. Names in parentheses are the HubSpot property names.
Quote identity
Section titled “Quote identity”- Quote Type (
quotivity_quote_type) — New Business, Change, or Renewal. A change or renewal quote from a contract already has Change or Renewal. - Quote title (
hs_title) — the deal name, or “Created by Quotivity” when the deal has no name. - Currency (
hs_currency) — the deal’s currency, or the account currency. - Quote status (
hs_status) — always Draft. - Slug (
hs_slug) — the public slug assigned at creation. - Quote owner (
hs_quote_owner_id) — the owner from the account’s quote owner setting. - Created by Quotivity (
quote_hapily_created_by_quote_hapily) — always Yes on a quote Quotivity creates. - Auto-created by Quotivity (
quotivity_auto_created) — Yes only when a HubSpot workflow created the quote. Otherwise the field is blank. - Template type (
hs_template_type) — a customizable quote template, or a Commerce Hub CPQ template when Quotivity templates are off. - Domain (
hs_domain) — the account’s default quote domain, or the active HubSpot template’s default domain, when one of those is configured.
Expiration and locale
Section titled “Expiration and locale”- Expiration date (
hs_expiration_date) — calculated from the account’s default expiration period. - Expiration Period Option (
expiration_period_option) — that same default, such as 30 days. - Locale (
hs_locale) and Language (hs_language) — the account’s default quote locale.
Sender
Section titled “Sender”Copied from the rep’s default sender company and from the quote owner. A Set Sender Company rule runs after the price book is chosen, so it has not changed these fields yet. A field is blank when the source has no value.
- Sender company name (
hs_sender_company_name) - Sender company domain (
hs_sender_company_domain) - Sender company address (
hs_sender_company_address) - Sender company address 2 (
hs_sender_company_address2) - Sender company city (

hs_sender_firstname) - Sender last name (
hs_sender_lastname) - Sender email (
hs_sender_email) - Sender job title (
hs_sender_jobtitle) - Sender phone (
hs_sender_phone)
Buyer billing address
Section titled “Buyer billing address”Copied from the deal’s company when that company has an address. If the company has no address, these fields are absent.
- Buyer billing address (
hs_buyer_billing_address) - Buyer billing address 2 (
hs_buyer_billing_address2) - Buyer billing city (
hs_buyer_billing_city) - Buyer billing state (
hs_buyer_billing_state) - Buyer billing zip (

Signature
Section titled “Signature”Signature rules have not run. These are off.
- Show signature box (
hs_show_signature_box) - Show countersignature box (
hs_show_countersignature_box) - E-signature enabled (
hs_esign_enabled) - E-Signature Enabled (
quotivity_esign_enabled) — off, when that property exists in the portal.
Revenue totals
Section titled “Revenue totals”Present, and always 0. Line items are priced after the price book is chosen, so these cannot tell one quote from another.
- Monthly Recurring Revenue (MRR) (
quote_hapily_monthly_recurring_revenue) - Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR) (
quote_hapily_annual_recurring_revenue) - Annual Contract Value (ACV) (
quote_hapily_annual_contract_value) - Total Contract Value (TCV) (
quote_hapily_total_contract_value)
What is not available yet
Section titled “What is not available yet”- Line items, fees, discounts, and taxes, including quote totals that come from them.
- Custom quote properties a rep fills in, or that another rule writes.
- The price book (
hapily_price_book). Choosing it is what this rule does. - The Quotivity template, contract start date, and change effective date. Those are written after the price book is chosen.
- Roll-up fields. They are calculated from line items.
Other outcomes still offer every quote property. This shorter list applies only to Set Price Book.
