Configuring the Page Break module
Control where a printed quote or PDF starts a new page, so sections don't split awkwardly.
Overview
Section titled “Overview”The Page Break module forces a new page when the quote is printed or saved as a PDF. It puts nothing on the web view — its only job is to stop a section from splitting across two pages.
In HubSpot’s module picker it’s called Page break (Quotivity).
Settings
Section titled “Settings”The module has no settings. You control it in two ways:
- Where it sits — drag it on the HubSpot landing page to the point where a new printed page should begin.
- Whether it applies — use Hide Module in the configuration panel, or the eye icon in the Template Modules panel, to take it out of the rendered quote without removing it from the page.
- Add the module in HubSpot. Click Edit Design, search the module picker for “Page break”, drag it where the break belongs, and publish the page.
- Check the result. Back in Quotivity, download or print the preview and confirm the break lands where you wanted it.
- Adjust by moving the module on the landing page, not by adding blank space — spacing shifts as content grows, a break doesn’t.
- Publish the template.
Where breaks usually belong
Section titled “Where breaks usually belong”- Before the terms and conditions, so a long agreement starts on its own page.
- Before the signature block, so nobody signs a page that’s mostly line items.
- Between grouped line item tables when each section should read as its own schedule.
- Add several — there’s no limit, and each one only affects print and PDF output.
- The break moves with content: if the quote is short, the following section still starts on a fresh page.
- Reviewing a template? Print the preview to PDF; page breaks are invisible on screen by design.
