Configuring the Quote Info module

Show the reference details buyers look for — quote number, dates, and who sent it — in the header of the document.

The Quote Info module is the reference block near the top of the document — the details a buyer quotes back at you on the phone. It’s a single rich-text field built from CRM tokens, so you decide exactly which details appear and how they’re labeled.

In HubSpot’s module picker it’s called Quote Information (Quotivity).

What it shows by default

A new module comes pre-built with a right-aligned block containing:

  • Reference — the quote number
  • Quote created — the creation date
  • Quote expires — the expiration date
  • Quote created by — the sending rep’s name, job title, and email

Every line is a token you can relabel, reorder, or delete.

Settings

The module has one field: the content itself. Add tokens from the Quote, Deal, or Company objects — see inserting CRM property tokens for the token options, including what happens when a property is empty.

Empty tokens are removed from the rendered quote unless you give them a fallback value, so a quote without an expiration date won’t print a dangling “Quote expires:” label — delete the label text as well if you drop the token.

If you clear the field entirely, the module renders nothing.

Steps

Section titled “Steps”
  1. Open the module. Select Quote Info in the Template Modules panel.
  2. Edit the labels. Change “Reference” to “Quote #”, or translate the labels for a localized template.
  3. Add the details your buyers need. A PO number, a project name, or a contract term stored on the deal are all one token away.
  4. Remove what you don’t use. Deleting a line removes both the label and its token.
  5. Check the preview with sample data, then publish. The header block now shows your fields on every quote from this template.

Tips

Section titled “Tips”
  • Dates render in the quote’s language, and dropdown properties show their option labels rather than internal values.
  • Keep the block short. Details that need explaining belong in a Rich Text module further down the page.
  • The expiration date shown here comes from your quote settings — see Setting quote expiration and default domain.
