Configuring the Quote Title module

Set the headline at the top of the quote document and, if you want, change it based on the quote's data.

The Quote Title module is the document’s headline. Out of the box it prints the quote’s Title property as a top-level heading, so a quote named “Acme — Platform Renewal” leads with exactly that.

In HubSpot’s module picker it’s called Quote Title (Quotivity).

Settings

Display content The headline itself. Defaults to the quote’s Title property in a heading; edit the wording, add tokens, or restyle it
Conditions Condition groups that decide whether the title shows. Combine conditions with AND or OR
Show fallback content when condition is false Turns on alternate content for quotes that don’t meet the conditions
Fallback content The headline to use instead when the conditions aren’t met

Leave the conditions empty and the title always shows — which is what most templates want.

Steps

  1. Open the module. In the template editor, select Quote Title in the Template Modules panel.
  2. Edit the display content. Keep the quote Title token, add text around it, or replace it with another property — see inserting CRM property tokens.
  3. Add conditions if you need them. For example, show a “Renewal Agreement” headline only when the deal type is a renewal.
  4. Turn on fallback content if a quote that fails the conditions still needs a headline, and write it in.
  5. Check the preview and publish the template. The headline now renders at the top of every quote built from it.

Tips

Section titled “Tips”
  • A quote with an empty Title property and no fallback renders no headline at all, rather than a blank heading. Prompting reps for a title on the deal keeps documents consistent.
  • Since the content is a rich-text field, you can put your own words around the token — “Proposal for {Company name}” reads better than a bare quote name.
  • Font and color come from the HubSpot landing page. Change them there if the headline doesn’t match your brand.
