Configuring the Quote Signature module

Place the acceptance block on the quote and control what buyers see for each signature option.

The Quote Signature module is where a quote gets accepted. What it renders depends on the signature option chosen on the quote itself — no signature, a written signature, or e-signature — so this module positions the block and sets the options that apply to each case.

In HubSpot’s module picker it’s called Quote Signature (Quotivity). A template can only contain one Quote Signature module.

Heading — the heading above the block. Defaults to “Acceptance”.

For quotes using No Signature or Written Signature

Section titled “For quotes using No Signature or Written Signature”

Show Accept button — adds an Accept button and buyer acceptance language to the published quote, so a buyer can accept without signing. It has no effect on e-signature quotes, which are accepted by signing.

Show Signature Date — adds a Date column to the printed signature table.

For quotes using Written Signature or E-Signature

Section titled “For quotes using Written Signature or E-Signature”
  • Require Form Submission — holds back the signature content until the buyer completes the forms in a Quote Forms module on the page. It only does something when the template has a Quote Forms module.
  • Show Job Title — includes job titles in the written signature table and next to e-signature signer names.
Quote’s signature option What the module renders
No signature Nothing, unless Show Accept button is on — then an Accept button and acceptance language
Written signature A signature table for the buyer to print and sign, with optional date column and job titles, plus a countersignature area when the quote asks for one
E-signature Signing fields for each required signer, and an Internal Approval section when the quote has countersigners
  1. Open the module. Select Quote Signature in the Template Modules panel.
  2. Set the heading — “Acceptance”, “Authorization”, or your own wording.
  3. Turn on the Accept button if you send quotes that don’t need a signature but still need a recorded yes.
  4. Set the written-signature options — date column and job titles — to match the paperwork your finance team expects.
  5. Decide on Require Form Submission if the template also collects forms.
  6. Preview and publish. Previewing a template whose sample quote needs no signature shows a placeholder rather than an empty block; that placeholder never reaches buyers.
  • Countersigners come from the quote’s settings, not this module — see Setting up countersigners.
  • Put the signature block after your terms so buyers sign below what they’re agreeing to.
  • Empty job titles or names usually trace back to the contact or user record in HubSpot.
